Upcoming Events
On Saturday 1st September, we will be celebrating Eid-e-Ghadeer and Eid-e-Mubahila, as well as the birthday of our 10th Imam Ali-un-Naqi A.S.
The program will begin at 7.30pm and begin with presentation of items from the Imam Hasan School students.
The speech will be recited by Sheikh Nami Farhat and there will also be a Kahoot quiz.
If you would like to make a donation towards the Niyaaz, please contact Br Baqir Raza or Sis Zohra Aly.
Blood Donation
Br Hussein and Sis Mumtaz have organised the Annual Blood donation drive on Saturday 15th Septemeber other times are also available please contact Br Hussein on – 0418488865
Muharrum – Muharrum Lecturer
Allhamdulliah Dr. Sheikh Ali Al-Hilli (Brother of Muhammad Al-Hilli) will be joinign us for the First 12 nights of Muharrum.
Apart from being religiously educated Sheikh is an accomplished scientists, his lectures are aimed at the 18 – 40 age group specifically and you can fins some sample of his lectures below.
He has a terrific sense of humour and is well experienced in presenting to the youth in the community.

Muharrum Calendar
Tuesday 11th September will be the first night of Muharram 1440. The Muharram calendar will be sent out later this week.

Imam Hasan School News
Term 3 is in full swing, tests will be conducted by teachers in the first two weeks of September. Please check the children know what is expected in the tests and help them with preparations.
Last day of Term 3 will be Saturday 15th September.
Term 3 fees can be paid online or in the Office.
TEACHERS REQUIRED FOR THURSDAY EVENING CLASSES
Allhamdullilah, Thursday evening classes have more than 20 children registered and we are in need of teachers to help with Quran. If you can spare an hour from 6.30PM – Maghrib, please email ihs@imamhasancentre.com.au
Extra Quran Classes for IHS students
Imam Hasan Centre is offering Thursday evening Qur’an classes for new and existing IHS students who wish to improve their recitation. Thursday Qur’an classes intend to supplement the madrasah learning.
Classes will be taught by Sister Amina Alimohamed.
