On Saturday 3rd February, we will be commemorating the of the death anniversary of Bibi Fatima A.S.
Guest speaker from Birmingham Sheikh Nuru Mohammed will recite in English at 6.30 pm.
This will be followed by Urdu majlis recited by Maulana Kumail Mehdavi.
Niyaaz will be served after Maghribain prayers at 8.20 PM
(Note : There are 2 dates that are mentioned to be the date for the Passing of Lady Fatima Zahra AS)
UPCOMING PROGRAMS
On Saturday 10th February, Sheikh Nuru Mohammed will give a speech in English. The program will begin at 7pm and conclude by Maghrib.
On Saturday 17th February, Maulana Kumail Mehdavi will be reciting majlis to commemorate Ayyame Fatimiyya.
MCE – Special Madrassah Teachers’ Training Program
Allhamdulillah we have now completed 13 years of Madrassah at Imam Hasan School, and the community response has been outstanding with more applications then we can manage.
It has been pleasing to hear and read positive comments about the teachers and the Madrassah, which can be attributed to the efforts of our teachers and volunteers, may Allah reward them.
Imam Hasan School has organised MCE – Madrassah Centre of Excellence to come and present their teacher training course which has now been run successfully at many Madrassahs worldwide.
Syed Ali Naqvi from Birmingham will be presenting the 3-day course on Saturday and Sunday February 3rd and 4th with a follow up practical presentation on Saturday 10th.
The majority of IHS teachers are participating in the course over the two weekends. As well, we have teachers from Imam Mehdi Islamic School and MWA in Sydney, and from Brisbane and New Zealand madrassahs attending too.
Thank you to those teachers and community members who have already offered to accommodate some of our visitors and provide catering assistance.

Imam Hasan School News
First day of Term 1 2018 for all students of Class 2 upwards will be on Saturday 3rd February. Please arrive by 5pm.
All parents are required to attend and stay in the Assembly Hall with their children for the Welcome back to IHS at 5pm and a special lecture and Q &A with inspirational speaker with a youth focus, Sheikh Nuru Mohammed at 5.30pm. Children do not need to bring their bags and books on Saturday 3rd February.
Extra Quran Classes for IHS students
Imam Hasan Centre is offering Thursday evening Qur’an classes for new and existing IHS students who wish to improve their recitation. Thursday Qur’an classes intend to supplement the madrasah learning.
Classes will be taught by Sister Amina Alimohamed.
