This week at IHC – Commemorating the Martyrdom of Imam Ali A.S. – Aamal of Shab-e-Qadr – URDU – Maulana Shoaib Naqvi – ENGLISH – Sheikh Imran
We are pleased to advise that Maulana Shoaib Naqvi will be reciting majlis in URDU on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night to coincide with the martyrdom of Imam Ali A.S.
The majlis will start after IFTAR and Dua with Sheikh Imranali Panjwani presenting in ENGLISH followed by Maulana Shoaib Naqvi in URDU followed by Matam and Aamals.
Upcoming programs
On Friday 25th June, we will commemorate the attack on Imam Ali A.S. followed by Aamal of 19th night. The program will begin at 5.17PM with Maghrib prayers, followed by Iftar, duas and Majlis at 7PM.
On Saturday 26th June, we will have majlis to commemorate the attack on Imam Ali A.S., There will be IHS classes at 4.15pm, followed by Maghrib prayers at 5.17PM, Iftar, duas and
Majlis at 7PM.
On Sunday 27th June, Imam Hasan School will be CLOSED.
The program will begin at 5.18 PM with Maghrib prayers, followed by Iftar and Duas. Majlis and Taboot to commemorate the shahadat of Imam Ali A.S. will begin at 7PM.
Aamal of 21st night of Ramadhan will begin after Maatam.
Monday 12.00 PM – Salaat Zohr followed by Majlis to commemorate the 21st Day of Ramadhan.
On all three nights, Sheikh Imran Panjwani will recite majlis in English followed by majlis in Urdu recited by Maulana Shoaib Naqvi.
There will be no Quizzes this weekend.
IMAM HASAN SCHOOL News
Ramadhan Timings for Imam Hasan School–
There will be classes on Saturday AND Sunday from 4.15pm till Maghrib. Classes will finish after Maghrib prayers. Most classes will have Islamic studies on Saturday and Quran on Sundays.
For IHS students in classes 5 upwards, the Quran surah names quiz was held last Sunday after iftar and duas on names of Chapters 1-42. Class teams competed against each other, and all students present did extremely well, with the Class 8/9 team winning by a narrow margin in the last round!
Next Quiz will be on Saturday 2nd July and Sunday 3rd July on Chapters 43-85.
There will be NO IHS classes on Sunday 27th June, the 21st night of Ramadhan.
Extra Quran Classes for IHS students
Imam Hasan Centre is offering Thursday evening Qur’an classes for new and existing IHS students who wish to improve their recitation. The recitation and understanding of Qur’an will be a focus for the IHS this coming year as the aim will be for students to recite Surah Yasin in the Centre’s main programmes. Thursday Qur’an classes intend to supplement the madrasah learning.
Classes will be taught by Sister Amina Alimohamed and Sheikh Dr. Imranali Panjwani.
