CORRECTION : ZILLHAJJ – EID-ul-ADHA DATE – SATURDAY 7th JUNE
Salaam Alaykum,
We have noted an error in the sequence of dates in the Annual Hijri Calendar for the most likely date for the starting of Zilhajj, the 1st day of Zilhajj should have read Thursday 29th May (1st night most likely being Wednesday 28th May).
This sequencing error in the design of the calendar will mean Day of Arfah will be Friday 6th June, and Eid-ul-Adha will be Saturday 7th June. We apologise for the error, just to confirm its not a calculation error / it was a design – sequencing error.
