Upcoming events
On Saturday 21st April, we will be celebrating the birthdays of Imam Husayn and Imam Zain-ul-Abideen A.S and Hazrat Abbas A.S. The program will begin at 7.30pm.
Maulana Kumail Mahdevi of Melbourne will be presenting with our local and young reciters of poetry and guest reciter from Dubai – Br. Irfan Damji.
Br Talal will be showing his wonderful pictures of the shrines in Iraq and you will have the opportunity to buy prints of your favourite ones. Also available for purchase will be fabulous 250-piece jigsaw puzzles of the shrine of Imam Husayn for sale- great as Eid presents! All funds will go towards the Ramadhan Relief Appeal.

Term 1 is over and IHS is on holiday.
First day of Term 2 will be Saturday 5th May.
In term 2 classes will run from 4.30-7.30pm until Ramadhan timings begin.

TEACHERS REQUIRED FOR THURSDAY EVENING CLASSES
Allhamdullilah, Thursday evening classes have more than 20 children registered and we are in need of teachers to help with Quran. If you can spare an hour from 6.30PM – Maghrib, please email ihs@imamhasancentre.com.au
Extra Quran Classes for IHS students
Imam Hasan Centre is offering Thursday evening Qur’an classes for new and existing IHS students who wish to improve their recitation. Thursday Qur’an classes intend to supplement the madrasah learning.
Classes will be taught by Sister Amina Alimohamed.
