On Saturday 10th February, Sheikh Nuru Mohammed will give a speech in English, with Q & A
The program will begin at 7 pm and conclude with Maghrib prayers.
On Saturday 17th February, Maulana Kumail Mehdavi will be reciting majlis to commemorate Ayyame Fatimiyya.
Special Madrassah Teachers’ Training Program
Many of our teachers attended the training program last Saturday and Sunday, and will be attending the concluding session on Saturday 10th, followed by the presentation of certificates from the World federation’s MCE – Madrassah Centre of Excellence (http://madrasahonline.org)
Thank you to those teachers and community members who offered to accommodation and transport to our visitors last weekend, as well as those helping with catering for lunch during the workshop.

Term 1 has begun!
Please arrive by 5pm for Assembly. Children must bring their bags, Quran textbooks from 2017, and a pencil case.
Fees for 2018 term 1 are $60 per child and $20 for the Islamic studies textbook. Discounts apply for the third and fourth child.
Please be aware that term fees must be paid in full even if children do not attend part of the term due to leave for any reason.
One parents is required to stay at IHC all the time if your children are in Classes 1-4 until the children are settled into the term’s routines.
Class 1 parents are to arrive by 5.30pm on Saturday 10th February and take their children straight to the Classroom to meet the teachers.
Class 2 parents should take their children straight at 5pm to the Classroom, not to Assembly, on Saturday 10th February to meet the teachers.

Extra Quran Classes for IHS students
Imam Hasan Centre is offering Thursday evening Qur’an classes for new and existing IHS students who wish to improve their recitation. Thursday Qur’an classes intend to supplement the madrasah learning.
Classes will be taught by Sister Amina Alimohamed.
